项目概况

项目位于广州新中轴线南段的起点，与已建成的花城广场以珠江相隔，与广州城市新地标广州塔将成为重要的旅游观光区。基地范围北起阅江西路，南至新港中路，西起艺景路，东至艺苑东路与赤岗北路。规划用地面积55.5公顷。项目将由岭南广场、广州博物馆、广州美术馆、广州科学馆组成，成为广州文化核心区，进而提升广州市文化软实力和国际竞争力。

Situated at the South end of the Guangzhou New Urban Axis, the project is going to become an important tourist and sightseeing zone together with Canton Tower, the recent city landmark in Guangzhou. The site area is bounded by Yue Jian West Road to the North, Xin Gang Middle Road to the South, Yi Jing Road to the West, and Yi Yuan EastRoad and Chi Gang NorthRoad to the East. The planning covers a total land area of 55.5 ha.The plot is composed of Lingnan Square(Park), Guangzhou Museum, Guangzhou Art Museum and Guangzhou Science Museum, which will be developed into a core cultural district in Guangzhou. After completion of the project, cultural soft power and international competitiveness of Guangzhou city will be dramatically enhanced.

整体建筑形态设计

根据“山、水、林、田”文化绿洲的城市设计理念，三馆是文化绿洲中的山石元素，而三馆的“山石“形态却各有不同，受到中国不同山石地貌的启发。广州美术馆灵感来源于“太湖石”，科学馆灵感来源于“峡谷”，广州博物馆灵感来源于“石林”。建筑形态自然流畅，不拘一格，与岭南广场城市景观有机融合，正是用独特形式重新阐释岭南建筑的精髓。

The urban design concept, Cultural Oasis, features with elements of "Mountain", "River", "Forest" and "Field". The three sculptured cultural facility are inspired by three different kinds of mountain/stone in China. Guangzhou Art Museum is inspired by the rare stone in Lingnan traditional Garden, Science Museum is inspired by the cliff along the river, and Guangzhou Museum is inspired by the stone forest. The form of three museums are free and natural, completed integrated with the green spaces and landscape organically, which will present the uniqueness of Lingnan architecture Style.

广州美术馆设计

广州美术馆地处广州新城市中轴线南段的开端的岭南广场，与广州塔、赤岗塔、广州科学馆、广州博物馆共同形成大型旅游观光区。项目位于岭南广场的东面，北临双塔路，南侧面向科学馆，西侧面向岭南广场，东临赤岗北路。

Guangzhou Art Museum is situated at the Lingnan Square at the South end of the Guangzhou New Urban Axis. Together with the Canton Tower, Chigang Pagoda, Guangzhou Science Museum and Guangzhoou Museum forms a large scale tourist and sightseeing district. The project is located to the East of Lingnan Square, next to Shuang Ta Road on the North and Xin Gang Middle Road on the East, facing Science Museum in the South and Lingnan Square in the West.

美术馆就像矗立在稻田景观中的岩石，其雕塑般的有机造型与公园周围的高层建筑明显区分开来。

The museums stand like rocks in the rice fields of a landscape garden. Their sculptural organic shape distinguishes them clearly from high-rise buildings surrounding this park.

设计理念

广州美术馆的形态特征受“太湖石”的启发。“太湖石”自唐宋以来就深受文人墨客的喜爱， 是一个融合“时间、艺术、空间”的艺术珍品。项目也希望借助这样一个蕴涵中国文化的载体形态，来承载和容纳中国传统艺术与岭南传统艺术。建筑空间本身也是一件艺术品。

The form of Guangzhou Art Museum is inspired by Taihu stones, which has been scholars' favorite since Tang and Song Dynasties. Taihu stone is a combination of "time, art and space". Therefore, with the expression of Taihu stones, the project is hoped to carry and accommodate Chinese, especially Lingnan traditional art. After all, architectural space itself is also a piece of artwork.

展览空间的结构沿袭了黑盒子的概念，采用传统的“柱子+楼板”结构，而建筑外部则是部分悬挂在屋顶横梁上的自支撑外壳结构。因此，建筑的外形是由一系列不完整的球体构成的。只有从门厅才能看到一个完整的球体，里面容纳着空中大厅以及餐厅。

The structure of the exhibition spaces, following the concept of a black box, is conventionally built with columns and slabs while the exterior is a self-supporting shell structure partly hanging on the roof beams. The form of the building is therefore built as series of fragmented spheres. Only the foyer reveals the perfect spheres of the sky lobby and the restaurant.

美术馆空间由各种“山拱”“山洞”组成。走进美术馆犹如穿梭一个藏宝洞一般，空间形态跌宕起伏，变化莫测。人们在里面探寻中外艺术珍藏。

The space of Art Museum is formed by different types of arches and caves, creating an undulating space like a treasure cave. Visitors can treasure hunt a variety of art pieces from China and abroad within the museum.

景观设计

岭南广场的城市景观渗透到广州美术馆的大穹顶空间里面，形成景观与建筑相结合的有机体。岭南广场上的步道与河流把人们带到美术馆的入口，犹如进入一个神秘山洞。进入“山洞”，是一个接近40米高的大型穹顶空间，别有洞天。在这穹顶之下，艺术、建筑、自然高度融合。

Landscape continues from Lingnan Square into the domed space in Guangzhou Art Museum, forming an organic combination of landscape and architecture. The pedestrian path and river on the Lingnan Square lead visitors to the entrance of Art Museum, which is like a mysterious cave. After entering the 'cave', one will be surprised by the 40mhigh domed space.

内部流线分配

参观者主要从岭南广场通过建筑西面的开口进入到建筑的穹顶空间。室内有个40米高的大中庭空间，所有的展览空间围绕中庭空间盘旋而上，通过各层的扶手电梯连接起来，同时在中庭也设置了垂直观光电梯直达建筑的顶部，让人们一览无余。

Visitors enter the main dome of the building space by building west from Lingnan square opening. There is a 40 meter high indoor large atrium space, all the exhibition space and circled around the atrium space, connected by escalators layers, but also set up in the Atrium sightseeing elevator to the top of the vertical construction, so that people glance.

工作人员的入口设置在建筑的东南侧靠近持港北路段。与参观者的流线分离。

The staff at the entrance set the building near the southeast section of North Port held. Separation and visitors flow.

广州科学馆设计

广州科学馆形态有机奔放，平面造型犹如地球表面的一块陆地，寓意为“酝酿智慧果实的土壤”。科技馆是岭南广场城市设计中三座“山石”之一，40米高的立面多变、陡峭，延绵不断，就像江边的悬崖一般。

Guangzhou Science Museum has an organic form. The shape of the plan resembles a piece of land on Earth, giving a metaphor of 'a land of wisdom'. Science Museum is one of the three mountains in the Lingnan Square urban design. The 40m-high elevation is like a continuously changing steep cliff along the river.

当人们走进科学馆的景观狭缝中，就像走进深幽曲折的峡谷。河流与千姿百态的峭壁，宛若一副山水国画。

One enters the Science Museum through the narrow gaps, like meandering through canyons. The river together with the changing cliffs forms a beautiful landscape painting.

由于形态迂回曲折，室内的空间形态也是流动多变的，观众们在这流动的空间中探寻自然与科学的奥秘。

The unique form of the museum generates interior space with large variety of spatial qualities. Visitors can discover the mystery of nature and science through the flowing spaces.

广州博物馆设计

广州博物馆的形态理念源于石林，参差不齐的石圆柱有机地组合排列，组成一个高密度的空间，让人们联想到密集如森林的城市环境。

The form of Guangzhou Museum is based on the stone forest. Uneven stone columns are densely arranged, resembles a forest in the city.

当参观者走在这个森林般的空间中，犹如穿梭在一个迷宫之中，探寻着广州这座城市的历史与故事。

Walking into this forest-like space is like exploring within a maze, discovering the history and stories of Guangzhou.

广州博物馆特点在于运用最单一、最基本的空间元素，组合成一个复杂多变、移步易景的有机组合。

The main feature of Guangzhou museum is to make use of a single, fundamental spatial element to form a complex, changeable organic compound.
