当清晨的第一缕阳光照射在矗立的大厦玻璃幕墙上，映射出柔和的霞光。不远处的港口码头响起轮船低沉的轰鸣，来往的车流、人群、货运开始一天有序的忙碌。

When the first morning sun shines on the glass wall of the towering building, it reflects a soft glow. Not far from the port, the ship rang a low roar, and the traffic, people, and freight traffic began to be busy in an orderly day.

这里是前海蛇口自贸区的核心枢纽位置，东连蛇口、西接前海，新建成的南开大厦以一枝独秀的姿态矗立在繁忙的赤湾片区，与山海对望，远望未来。

This is the core hub of the Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone. It is connected to Shekou in the east and Qianhai in the west. The newly built Nankai Building stands in the busy Chiwan area with a unique attitude, facing the mountains and the sea and looking into the future.

南开大厦位于蛇口赤湾，三面环山，毗邻赤湾港，建筑高156.9米，包含地下3层和地上33层，是一座集物流、办公于一体的综合性大楼。基地三面环山，一面朝海，拥有独特的景观资源。规划中旨在创造一个开放的城市空间，与外部空间贯通，使建筑更为自然地融入周边优美的自然环境中。

Nankai Building is located in Chiwan, Shekou. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides and adjacent to Chiwan Port. The building is 156.9 meters high. It consists of 3 underground floors and 33 floors above ground. It is a comprehensive building integrating logistics and office. The base is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea, with unique landscape resources. The plan aims to create an open urban space that is connected to the external streamlines, allowing the building to blend more naturally into the beautiful natural surroundings.

塔楼于场地西南角，南面朝向大海，拥有良好的视野，往来港口的人们也能清楚看到塔楼挺拔的形象。背向大海的一面亦能拥有大南山森林公园的景色，并与地铁、公交站等公共交通系统紧密联系。塔楼的位置配合主干道的设计，每一层办公楼都有自然的通风与最佳日照。

The tower is located at the southwest corner of the site, facing the sea to the south, and has a good view. At the same time, the flow of people from the port can clearly see the image of the tower. The side facing away from the sea can also have a beautiful view of the Da Nan Shan Forest Park and is closely linked to public transportation systems such as subways and bus stops. The location of the tower is designed to match the design of the main road to achieve the best solar path and air duct, so that each floor of the office building benefits from natural ventilation and maximum sunshine.

建筑底部设计综合考虑了整体布局和立面造型，采用与立面相同的倾斜鳞片状玻璃雨蓬，雨蓬简约而轻盈地被放置在建筑下端，保持了大厦在立面上的干净独立。大堂两层通高的设计贯穿南北，室内光洁大理石与大片落地玻璃使得空间开敞明亮。

The bottom design of the building takes into account the overall layout and façade of the building. It adopts the same sloping scaly glass awning as the façade. The awning is simple and light and falls on the lower end of the building. The design is controlled to maintain the cleanliness of the building independent.

设计的主要思路是一座建立连接两座山的绿廊。塔楼分成两个体块，以垂直绿化贯穿其中。被拉开的中庭空气流通，同时有利于使用者彼此交流，收获良好的外部视野。

The main idea of the design is to create a combination between the two mountains and establish a pergola that connects the two mountains. The tower is divided into two blocks, with vertical greening running through it. The opened atrium enjoys full air circulation while facilitating internal users to communicate with each other and gaining a good external view.

“生态绿色办公”是设计中的一大亮点，我们在大厦两端设计了通体的半室外空中花园，出挑的阳台从楼顶延伸至地面，引入绿植后将变成“垂直森林”。

“Ecological Green Office” is a highlight in the design. We designed a semi-outdoor sky garden at the two ends of the building. The raised balcony extends from the roof to the ground. After the introduction of green plants, it will form a “vertical forest”effect.

如画卷般的垂直绿化不仅在视觉上带来冲击，起到装饰效果，还能净化空气，有效改善枯燥单调的办公环境。葱郁的绿植、良好的视野、宽敞的空间为员工创造了舒适的办公和社交环境，“绿色生态环保”的设计理念在此得到极致体现。

The vertical greening like a scroll not only has a visual impact, but also a decorative effect, which effectively improves the monotonous and boring office environment and purifies the air and space. Good vision, lush green plants and spacious space create a comfortable office and social environment for employees. The design concept of “green eco-friendly” is reflected in this body.

南开大厦的建筑立面采用现代简约的造型手法，展现出流畅的线条和舒适宜人的空间感，以创造一个大气、高品质的商务办公楼，力争成为该片区的标志性建筑。单元式鱼鳞玻璃幕墙直接落地，营造出一个简洁而又不单调的建筑形体，正面看去光洁平整，侧面看去却有曲折变化。

The building facade of Nankai Building adopts modern and simple styling techniques, emphasizing comfortable and pleasant space and smooth line arrangement to create an atmospheric and high-quality business office building, striving to become the landmark building of the district. The unitized fish scale glass curtain wall directly landed to create a simple and unobtrusive architectural form. The front side looks smooth and flat, while the side view shows a tortuous change.

我们对于开窗的处理做了重点研究，保证“开启不被看见”。在幕墙中加入侧面隐藏开启扇，开启扇为每个办公室单元单独提供空间来感受外部自然环境，同时削弱了建筑在外部的体量感。“隐藏式可呼吸落地幕墙”既兼顾绿色健康自然通风，又保证观景面不被切断，将尽可能多的室外景观引入室内，维持了高品质办公楼完整的外表。

We have done a special study on the handling of window opening to ensure that "opening is not seen." The side hidden open fan is added to the sleek curtain wall. The opening fan provides each office unit with the opportunity to feel the external natural environment separately and homogeneously, while weakening the building's sense of external volume. The “hidden breathable floor curtain wall” not only balances green health and natural ventilation, but also ensures that the viewing surface is not cut off, and introduces as much outdoor landscape as possible into the interior of the office, and maintains the complete appearance of the high-quality office building.

站在蛇口自贸区发展更新的当口，南开大厦以一种从容稳重的姿态迎接企业腾飞的新起点，在波涛汹涌的时代发展变迁中，观照着过去与未来。

Standing in the development of the Shekou Free Trade Zone, Nankai Building welcomes the new starting point of the company's take-off in a calm and steady manner, and observes the past and the future in the turbulent development of the times.
