三亚海棠河岸，潮水往复，气候温热，海岛、椰林与密集的红树林层层铺陈。这次，我们在海棠湾湿地岸边，编织了一座有机的滨水村落。

On the banks of the Sanya Haitang River, where tides ebb and flow, the climate is warm, and islands, coconut groves, and dense mangroves unfold in layers. Here, on the wetlands of Haitang Bay, we have woven an organic waterfront village.

日本哲学家和辻哲郎认为“风土是气候、地质、土壤、视线、景观等的总称。”

The Japanese philosopher Tetsurō Watsuji believed that "fudo (wind and earth) is a comprehensive term for climate, geology, soil, sightlines, and landscape."

因此，我们用连续的村落和起伏的屋顶去顺应风土。银色顶面与丛林相互渗透，金属的冷静与热带的丰沛交织，建筑始终保持对自然谦卑的同理，同时它投下的巨大阴影，关照、庇护着水岸的人与生活。

Thus, we respond to the fudo with a continuous village and an undulating roof. The silver rooftop interpenetrates with the lush greenery, intertwining the calm of metal with the abundance of the tropics. The architecture maintains a humble empathy with nature, while the vast shadows it casts care for and shelter the people and life along the water's edge.

水上的村落

Waterfront Settlement

项目位于三亚海棠湾的滨水地带，紧邻海岸线。这片水域孕育了丰富的红树林资源和珍稀生态景观，因此设计顺应原有的地块，保留现有道路与景观空间，以一种“村落原型（Village Prototype）”的姿态，退隐至自然之中。

The project is located in the waterfront zone of Sanya's Haitang Bay, close to the coastline. This body of water nurtures abundant mangrove resources and rare ecological landscapes. Therefore, the design responds to the existing site, preserving the current roads and landscape spaces, retreating into nature in the manner of a "Village Prototype."

我们从红树林中收获启示，红树林的生长方式是根系交错、各自独立而又相互依存，这种有机的、由间距和朝向构成的空间秩序，成为聚落形态的参照。

We drew inspiration from the mangroves—their growth pattern of intertwined root systems, individual yet interdependent. This organic order, constituted by spacing and orientation, became the reference for the settlement's morphology.

设计将约1,000平方米的建筑体量拆解成小盒子，以低矮、分散的单体去顺应驳岸肌理。依据道路形态扭转建筑体量，各单体互相错动，如同几座相邻的小屋，在草地与水岸之间缓慢铺开，形成小聚落的自然感。

We disaggregated the approximately 1,000-square-meter building mass into small boxes, using low-rise, dispersed individual volumes to follow the texture of the waterfront. The building volumes are rotated in response to the road alignment, each volume interlocking with one another—like several neighboring cottages slowly unfolding between the grassland and the water's edge, forming the natural character of a small settlement.

为保留原有的疏林草地、沙生植物，设计在原始道路的基础上进行了微调，改造后的道路全长110米，串联落客中岛、草坪、码头与栈道。各功能单体的主屋面采用平缓的单坡形式，鸟瞰视角下屋顶的变化形成节奏，如一片连续的村落。

To preserve the existing open woodland and psammophytic vegetation, we made minor adjustments based on the original roads. The transformed road now stretches 110 meters in length, connecting the drop-off central island, lawn, pier, and boardwalk. The main roofs of each functional volume adopt a gentle single-slope form. When viewed from above, the variations in the roofs create a rhythm, reading as a continuous village.

建筑内部游逛动线在各单体之间蜿蜒穿插，以路径长度换取停留密度，相互关联、侧重不一的功能聚落——社区食堂、融合餐厅、邻里空间与小型商业，共同构成一个有层次、有温度的水岸生活图景。

The internal circulation winds and weaves between the individual volumes, trading path length for residence density. Interrelated functional clusters with distinct emphases—a community canteen, a fusion restaurant, neighborhood spaces, and small-scale retail—together form a layered and intimate waterfront living scene.

屋顶的叙事

The Narrative of the Roof

三亚充沛的日照、持续的海风以及湿润的水汽，使得建筑需要通过一系列空间策略来调节自然环境：遮阳、通风、灰空间以及室内外的连续关系。

Sanya's abundant sunlight, persistent sea breezes, and humid air necessitate a series of spatial strategies to mediate the natural environment: shading, ventilation, in-between spaces, and the continuous relationship between interior and exterior.

屋顶遮蔽日照，拥入海风，成为这片水岸最重要的叙事。

The roof becomes the most important narrative of this waterfront.

在热带滨海的语境下，金属雨篷以波浪的形态去回应海水流动的张力。弧形的蓬面在阳光下起伏，如浪脊层次延展。银色曲面倒映着天空，树木在巨大的屋面中穿插交错，投下它们美丽的影子。

In the context of the tropical waterfront, curved canopies respond to the tension of the flowing sea with undulating forms. The metal canopy surfaces ripple and stretch beneath the sun, extending like layered wave crests. Silver curves mirror the sky, while trees interweave through the vast roof planes, casting their beautiful shadows.

高昂的热带丛林中，显现着金属的光泽，这些理性、秩序的构造被覆上一层南国艳阳的温度。

Amidst the lush tropics, a metallic luster emerges. These rational, ordered structures are not cold—they are overlaid with the warmth of the southern sun and the sensibility of nature.

金属穿插着柚木的门梁，弧蓬内部温暖，亲近。建筑外墙的拼接石材，保留着石质的粗粝肌理，与温暖的木头保持了形式上的秩序克制与感官上的柔软。

The continuous curved canopies shield against sunlight while embracing the sea breeze. Within this rational material system, teak door beams are interspersed, warming the interior of the curved shelters with a sense of intimacy. The split-face stone panels on the exterior walls retain the rough texture of stone, coexisting with the warmth of wood—maintaining formal restraint while offering sensory softness.

5至6米的檐口高度始终维持在乔木冠线下，建筑在冠丛掩映中，实现自然的遮蔽。我们用那些树木作为柔性的连接，连起一个个小聚落。各单体之间的通道，与植物、自然风和景观连通，郁郁葱葱的蓝绿从玻璃映入室内，空间与自然相互渗透。

The eaves, at a height of 5 to 6 meters, remain beneath the canopy of trees, allowing the architecture to achieve natural shelter amidst the foliage. We use those trees as soft connections, linking the small settlements together.

边界的模糊

Blurring of Boundaries

凯文·林奇在《此地何时》提出：外部世界是一个巨大的时钟，我们的内部时间感不断被它重置。

Kevin Lynch, in *What Time Is This Place?*, proposed that the external world functions as a vast clock, by which our internal sense of time is constantly reset.

在漫长的热带，人对时间的感知也变得缓慢，我们希望沿着海棠河去营造轻松从容的度假生活。

In the enduring tropics, one's perception of time slows down. Along the Haitang River, we seek to cultivate a relaxed and leisurely vacation life.

大面积的玻璃界面使室内外的界限模糊，沿路的热带小屋被植物簇拥，四处可见馥郁的花卉，阳光低斜地进入室内，空间呈现出被自然包裹的状态。

Between the boxes, a network of generous outdoor voids and alleyways connects the volumes, allowing different social interfaces to interact and interpenetrate naturally, forming a light and lively small settlement.

身处室内，视线却依然保持通透和开阔，檐口引导视线看向水面，草坪，从“开放”到“私密”，从“模糊”到“开阔”，人在其中的体验也是丰满的，充满探索的趣味。

Once indoors, the view remains transparent and expansive. The eaves guide the eye toward the water and the lawn — from "open" to "intimate," from "blurred" to "unobstructed." The experience within is rich, full of a sense of exploration and discovery.

从业主食堂、邻里中心、融合菜餐厅，到小尺度的生活方式，烘焙咖啡空间可以漫步通往各个单元，缓慢享受阳光与如诗如画的海岛风光。

From the resident canteen, neighborhood center, and fusion restaurant, to small-scale lifestyle programs, bakery and coffee spaces — inviting visitors to wander from one unit to another, slowly savoring the sunlight and the picturesque island scenery.

从筑造到栖居

From Building to Dwelling

古时人们聚族而居，形成村落、城镇，共享土地的滋养。我们在海棠湾设计的这片村落，有意地营造让人愿意停留、共处的空间状态，敞开的灰空间牵引着各个单体，人们可以在游玩、漫步中抵达目的地。

In ancient times, people lived together in clans, forming villages and towns, sharing the nourishment of the land. The village we designed in Haitang Bay intentionally creates a spatial condition where people are willing to linger and coexist. Open in-between spaces connect the individual volumes, allowing people to encounter one another and gather within a relaxed scale.

在植物掩映的小屋中，有丰富的餐饮系统与生活方式品牌集聚，它们为这片从容的水域带来了更具温度的度假体验。建筑不仅承载着饮食与社交的日常仪式，也连接人、连接水岸、连接场景。

Amidst the plant-shrouded cabins, a rich dining system and lifestyle brands gather, bringing a warmer vacation experience to this serene waterfront. The architecture not only hosts the daily rituals of dining and socializing but also connects people, connects the waterfront, and connects scenes.

金属的波浪、生长的树木、建筑的尺度，都在回应着海棠湾的风土与人居，为另一种温暖闲适的生活，提供了一个相遇与渗透的生态环境。

The metal waves, the growing trees, and the scale of the architecture all respond to the fudo and the dwelling life of Haitang Bay, providing an ecological environment for encounter and permeation — for another kind of warm and leisurely existence.

潮声中，波浪的蓬面像是被风吹得鼓动，临岸的灯光映在水面，人们在海风中饮食相聚。人来人往中，关系织就，在起伏的屋檐下，仿佛被世界拥入其中。

Amidst the sound of the tides, the wave-like canopy surfaces seem to billow in the wind. The lights along the shore are reflected on the water, as people gather to dine in the sea breeze. Amidst the flow of people, relationships are woven together. Beneath the undulating eaves, it feels as if being embraced by the world.
