Bureau of Public Works of Shenzhen Municipality is the administrative department of Shenzhen govement, which is responsible for the construction and management of the govement investment projects except water and transportation projects.

Project Design Management Center（PDMC）is responsible for the whole process management of the design for govement investment projects. Now the foreign and Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan professionals are recruited worldwide.

Job Titles and Requirements

■ Chief Architect, Shenzhen, China

Job Summary and duties:

1. Responsible for the design quality of the govement investment projects managed by PDMC, take charge of the decision-making and control in pre-project stage for key projects.

2. Responsible for the establishment of engineering and technical standards, project requirement and positioning research for govement investment projects.

3. Responsible for planning and architectural professional technical decision-making; Organize reviews and other work in scheme design, design development and construction drawing design stages.

4. Responsible for the design of the tender mode innovation.

5. Responsible for the implementation of the project design effect, material selection and major design change work in the construction coordination stage.

6. Responsible for exteal communication with relevant sectors such as industry associations for integration of high-quality design resources.

Specific Skills Required:

1. With industry-leading horizons and concepts, excellent public building design quality control ability, a solid theoretical basis and aesthetic skills, excellent team management skills, communication skills, resource integration capabilities.

2. Familiar with the management concept, process and method of the entire process of project construction and development and architectural design, familiar with administrative office software and information system.

3. With good professional ethics and literacy, innovative and dedication spirit and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree or above in Architecture.

2. Under 55 years old, above 20 years’ experience in architectural design management or architectural design, experience in relevant positions in real estate companies, project management companies and design institutes is preferred. Take charge of the design or management for at least 3 construction projects (each project total construction area of not less than 50,000 square meters) within recent 5 years.

■Senior Architect , Shenzhen, China

Job Summary and duties:

1. As the general manager of the project, leading the team composed of all professionals to take charge of the project design management during six phases including project proposal, feasibility study, scheme design, design development, construction drawing design and construction coordination.

2. Responsible for organizing the compilation of the feasibility study report.

3. Responsible for organizing the invitation to bid of project design and relevant service agencies.

4. Responsible for organizing project scheme design, design development and construction drawing design; Control the design progress and quality.

5. Responsible for organizing the preparation and review for project budget estimate, and control the project cost during the entire design phase.

6. Responsible for organizing the relevant work needed to submit for approval.

7. Responsible for organizing the coordination work in construction phase.

Specific Skills Required:

1. Familiar with the management concept, process and method of the entire process of project construction and development and architectural design, familiar with administrative office software and information system.

2. With good communication skills, coordination skills, team management skills, a solid professional knowledge and problem solving skills.

3. With good professional ethics and literacy, innovative and dedication spirit and professionalism.

■Senior Interior Designer, Shenzhen, China

Job Summary and duties:

1. As the head of interior design professionals, it is responsible for the interior design management during six phases including project proposal, feasibility study, scheme design, design development, construction drawing design and construction coordination.

2. Responsible for organizing the invitation to bid of project interior design and relevant services agencies.

3. Responsible for organizing the scheme design, design development and construction drawing design of project interior design; Control design progress and quality.

4. Responsible for organizing the preparation and review for project interior design budget estimate, and control the project interior design cost during the entire design phase.

5. Responsible for organizing the coordination work in construction phase.

Specific Skills Required:

1. Familiar with the management concept, process and method of the entire process of interior design, familiar with the administrative office software and information system.

2. With good communication skills, coordination skills, team management skills, a solid professional knowledge and problem solving skills.

3. With good professional ethics and literacy, innovative and dedication spirit and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree or above in Interior design or relevant field.

2. Under 45 years old,above 15 years’ experience in interior design management or architectural design, experience in relevant positions in real estate companies, project management companies and design institutes is preferred. Take charge of the design or management for at least 3 construction projects within recent 5 years.
