盐禾⼩院位于惠州野岛文化社区，是一间以质朴食材与自然空间还原四季风味的餐厅。在重塑二十余载原生建筑的文化社区里，它以品尝四季为灵感、将自然光与在地建筑细腻融合，饱含时间印记而具有力量的建筑肌理娓娓道来这间小院的诞生故事。
Located in the WILD ISLAND Cultural Community of Huizhou, Yanho Kitchen and Bistro is a restaurant that restores the flavors of the four seasons with simple ingredients and natural space. In the Cultural Community that has reshaped the original architecture for more than 20 years, it is inspired by the sense of the four seasons, and delicately integrates the natural light with the local architecture. The architectural texture full of time imprints tells of the birth story of Yanho Kitchen and Bistro.
场地前身为惠州东江酿酒厂的野岛文化社区，在城市更新下重塑而生。而盐禾小院从年代的土壤里破土而出、野蛮生长，带着新生的力量和勇气为这片旧土地创造新活力。
Formerly known as Dongjiang Distillery of Huizhou, the WILD ISLAND Cultural Community is reborn during the urban renewal. The Yanho Kitchen and Bistro restarts and grows savagely, creating new vitality for this old land with new strength and courage.
“在院⼦⾥埋下⼀颗种⼦，在⼈们⼼中长出⼀棵⼤树。”

小时候每户人家的院子里都有一棵陪伴大家从孩童时期成长，共度喜怒哀乐、春夏秋冬的家树。它承载着几代同堂的回忆，随着时间流逝小树苗日渐长大，如成年后离开家乡远赴城市拼搏的人们。
When we were young, there was a tree in the yard of every household to accompany us from childhood to share our pleasure, anger, sorrow and joy in springs, summers, autumns and winters. It carried the memories of several generations in the same house. The saplings gradually grew as time went by, such as us who were far away from home and went to the city to fight hard when we were adults.
室内中庭天窗下的橄榄树与小树苗的设计，是整个空间的点睛之笔，亦是设计师在此埋下儿时院子的记忆种子。初见空间，让舒适自在的盐禾小院从布满历史痕迹的野岛里拔地而生，是设计师在这个快节奏时代里一直追寻着关于回家的记忆。希望来到这的人们可以品尝着抚慰人心的邻家料理，唤起回家的记忆和念想。
The design of olive tree and small sapling under the skylight of the indoor atrium is the finishing touch of the whole space, and it is also the childhood memory evoked by the designer. When you first see it, the comfortable Yanho Kitchen and Bistro will make a profound impression in WILD ISLAND full of historical traces. It is the designer who has been pursuing the memory of "going home" in this fast-paced era. It is hoped that those who come can taste the soothing next-door cuisine that evokes the memories and thoughts of home.
为了尽可能地保留原始建筑的野蛮生长环境，扎根于野草丛生的盐禾小院被构建成一个开放的院落形态。在这片布满时代痕迹的历史建筑里，院落形态温润地将原生建筑与庭院、周边环境紧密地融为一体，与自然共生共长。伴随着光影洒落、树影摇曳，小院自然而然地变成一个流动的空间载体，如处家般自在舒心。
In order to preserve the savage growth environment of the original architecture as much as possible, the Yanho Kitchen and Bistro rooted in the overgrown weeds is constructed into an open courtyard shape. In the historical architectures full of traces of the times, the Yanho Kitchen and Bistro in the courtyard shape gently integrates the original architecture with the courtyard and the natural environment, and it develops with nature. With the scattered light and the swaying tree shadows, the Yanho Kitchen and Bistro naturally becomes a mobile space carrier, which is as comfortable as home.
小院的室内空间以一个L形连廊连通三个不同朝向的入口，巧妙衔接了前后的阶梯广场和花园中庭；而大面积的玻璃窗和可推拉折叠的木窗，则模糊了室内外空间的边界，提高了整个空间的可塑性。室内极致简约，无一丝多余的繁杂，每一处隐秘的角落都让你忍不住停驻脚步、沐浴其中。
The indoor space of the Yanho Kitchen and Bistro connects three entrances in different orientations through an L-shaped corridor, which cleverly connects the stepped square and garden atrium before and after the Yanho Kitchen and Bistro. The boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces is blurred and the flexibility of the space is improved through the large area of glass windows and sliding and folding wooden windows. The indoor space is extremely simple without a trace of superfluous complicated shapes, so you can't help stopping to kill time at every hidden corner.
光影的变化在这个空间中被极尽描摹。建筑的每个立面与天窗确保了自然的光线可通达每个角落：营造的自然院落氛围感与模糊的建筑边界，让每一道柔和的光被引入这个安静的空间，身处室内却享受如外的体验。
The changes of light and shadow are described to the utmost in the space. Every façade and skylight of the architecture are established to ensure that natural light can reach every corner: The natural courtyard atmosphere created by blurring architectural boundary allows every soft light to be introduced into this quiet space, where you can enjoy the feeling of being outdoor in the indoor space.
在这个会呼吸的空间里，光以不同的角度渗透进来：从天窗洒进来，溅在粗糙的墙上，让小院充满了生命的灵气；在自然木色的格栅下光线变得柔和，让落下的每道光影成为这个空间里的艺术装饰。一天中，光色也会随着时间变化折射出不同的色调，落日时分橘色的光和斑驳树影洒在玻璃上，分外浪漫。
In the breathing space, light infiltrates from different angles: The Yanho Kitchen and Bistro is filled with the aura of life when the light splashes in from the skylight onto the rough walls; the light becomes soft under the natural wood-colored grille so that every falling light and shadow become an artistic decoration in the space. During the day, the light color will also reflect different hues with the change of time. At sunset, the orange light and mottled tree shadows fall on the glass, which is extraordinarily romantic.
光是影响建筑氛围的重要元素。复刻在墙上的光与斑驳树影，述说着这个空间里点与线、线与面之间的微妙关系，或许是一种时间停留的美感，抑或是生命与空间的本质延续。空间里的光是活泼、流动的，而建筑就是捕捉光的容器，只要有了第一道光，空间便有了它的深度。
Light is an important element that affects the atmosphere of the architecture. The light and mottled tree shadows engraved on the walls describe the subtle relationship between points and lines as well as between lines and surfaces in the space. Perhaps it is an aesthetic embodiment of time stay, or an essential continuation of life and space. The light in the space is lively and flowing, but the architecture is a container for capturing light. As long as there is the first light, the space will have its depth.
空间里的每一扇窗景都是为自然而生、从不定格，更无法复刻。设计师以轻盈的手法让每扇窗自然地落在了餐厅的每一处，让绿意盎然、一叶知秋的生机从室外蔓延到室内，构成了一幅幅生机勃勃的自然画。温柔地描绘着小院人间烟火、稍纵即逝的瞬间：春日树梢上新生的萌芽，夏季午后沉闷的雨天，秋天褪落满地的枯叶，冬季抬头就能看见日月星辰。
Every window scene in the space is born for nature, never fixed, let alone reproduced. The designer naturally sets each window in the Yanho Kitchen and Bistro allowing the greenery and the vitality of a leaf to spread from the outdoors to the indoors, which is like a vivid natural painting. The daily life and fleeting moments in the Yanho Kitchen and Bistro are depicted softly: Budding of new treetops in springs, dull rainy days in summer afternoons, dead leaves falling all over the ground in autumns, and the sun, moon and stars looked up in winters.
空间设计的主要材质由自然色系的夯土、灰泥、洞石、原木组成，设计师希望通过用自然材质表达对建筑丰富的肌理呈现，营造自然、舒适、简朴的用餐环境，与周边的原生建筑保持着和而不同的独特思考。
The main materials of the space design are rammed earth, stucco, travertine and logs in natural colors. The designer hopes to show the rich texture of the architecture with natural materials, creates a natural, comfortable and simple dining environment, and maintains unique thinking in harmony with the surrounding native architectures.
米黄色的材质筑就了多层次的空间肌理：泥巴质感的夯土墙、沙子质感的灰泥墙、岩石质感的洞石砖，不同属性，却都来自天然的特殊质感为空间增添了几分趣味。
The beige materials are used for a multi-layered architectural texture: rammed earth walls of mud texture, plaster walls of sand texture, and travertine bricks of rock texture. Different properties are all derived from natural special textures that add a bit fun to the space.
所使用的石材、木材、涂料等材料几乎都由手工制成，原始的制作工艺增强了建筑的古朴质感，让建筑更好地更融进自然里。犹如一张张质朴的画布，融入光和天气等自然元素，任由大自然的画笔自由地飘洒；随着日夜变迁，创造着日日惊喜的自然之美。
The stone, wood, paint and other materials used are almost made by hand. The architecture is enhanced in the simple texture in the original production process and can be integrated into nature better. Just like simple canvases, a natural beauty that surprises every day is created with nature by incorporating natural elements such as light and weather as time changes.
精确的细节在这里并不易察觉，连同空间层次微妙地递进，也被统一进视觉的延续性里，并被整体的氛围所替代。形式、光线、材质、艺术品融为一个整体，在时间的逡巡中缓缓流动。
Precise details are not easily discernible here since they are unified into visual continuity and replaced by the overall atmosphere together with the subtle progression of spatial levels. Form, light, material and artwork are integrated into a whole, flowing slowly in the voyage of time.
将日常隐藏于细腻空间的处理，是为表达小院生活气息的视觉设计小巧思。客人步行所到之处，如推开门触碰的种子把手、墙上映射着生活场景的镜面种子，都不经意地体现着空间与视觉设计的细腻融合，以及盐禾小院对生命力量的温柔表达。从生活的灵感种子到自然小院，盐禾小院希望成为你分享⼈⽣滋味、品尝四季之果的邻家食堂。
Hiding daily life in delicate space processing is a small idea of visual design to express the life atmosphere of the Yanho Kitchen and Bistro. Wherever the guests walk, the delicate integration of space and visual design is inadvertently reflected and the Yanho Kitchen and Bistro softly shows the power of life, such as a handle to push the door and a mirror on the wall reflecting the life scene. From the inspirational seeds of life to the natural courtyard, the Yanho Kitchen and Bistro hopes to be a restaurant where you can share the taste of life and taste the fruits of the four seasons.
