/ 光学建筑

An Optical Architecture

在长白山的冬季地景里，雪覆盖地表，光线收敛，低温与风让停留变得难得。远处的山体巨大而稳定，主导着视野与情绪。被安放在面向长白山的方向，“棱镜庇护所”为旅人提供一个可以放空并稍作停留的地方：抵达、进入、停留，在等待中看见时隐时现的远山。

In the winter terrain of Changbai Mountain, snow blankets the ground and the light narrows; low temperatures and wind make lingering a rare luxury. The massif in the distance is vast and steadfast, shaping both the view and the mood. Oriented toward Changbai, Prism Shelter offers travelers a place to empty the mind and rest for a moment: to arrive, to enter, to stay—then, in waiting, to glimpse the mountain as it appears and disappears.

“棱镜庇护所”是一件可以让人进入的大地艺术装置，也是一座光学的建筑。创作的核心是其营造的精神感受与具身体验：外部以庇护所的形态邀请人进入与停留，内部以光学机制重构观看方式。

Prism Shelter is an inhabitable work of optical architecture. Its core ambition is to create both a spiritual resonance and a fully embodied experience: outwardly, the form of a shelter invites entry and pause; inwardly, an optical mechanism reconfigures the act of seeing.

/ 在地材料

In-Situ Material Logic

长白山周边曾是出产木材的林场，如今因环保停止砍伐，但原始木料拼搭的小木屋仍是常见的建筑类型。作品延续这种直接、原始的建造质感，使其与风雪、林海与大尺度地景保持同频。

The areas around Changbai Mountain were once active timber forests. Logging has since ceased for environmental protection, yet small cabins assembled from raw lumber remain a common local typology. This work extends that direct, primal construction character, keeping pace with wind and snow, the forest sea, and the grand scale of the surrounding landscape.

木材来自周边城市的回收渠道，并经过碳化处理以提升耐候性，适应低温与雨雪。深黑、粗糙的碳化木表皮像一层可靠外壳：质感带来物理层面的安全感；线性条纹与整体朝向共同把视线引向长白山。粗粝、深色、带有火痕质感的外表皮，让作品在凌冽环境中呈现朴素而坚定的力量。

The timber is sourced through reclaimed channels from nearby cities and treated through charring to improve weather resistance, adapting to low temperatures, snow, and rain. The deep-black, coarse charred-wood skin reads as a dependable shell: its texture provides a physical sense of security, while the linear grain and overall orientation guide the gaze toward Changbai Mountain. Rough, dark, and marked by traces of fire, the exterior presents a plain yet steadfast strength against the harsh environment.

/ 体验容器

A Vessel for Experience

内部热烈的红色仿佛长白山地底涌动的火山能量，雪野中搏动的心脏，也是为行旅者点燃的微光。人们步入其中，通过特别的光学设计与远处的雪山相遇：熟悉的峰峦被分解、重组，化为一幅流动的视觉诗，并为世代居于此的居民，带来既陌生又亲切的观看体验。

The intense red interior feels like volcanic energy surging beneath Changbai Mountain—a pulsing heart in the snowfield, and a small beacon lit for those on the road. Stepping inside, visitors encounter the distant snowy peaks through a calibrated optical design: familiar ridgelines are fractured and reassembled, becoming a drifting visual poem. For residents who have lived with this mountain for generations, it offers a way of seeing that is at once strange and deeply familiar.

/ 感知现场

A Site of Perception

这座建筑是「愚行」玛丽黛佳自然剧参与式艺术实验现场的一部分，在大雪的映衬下，被赋予了震撼而独特的体验。置身于长白山，我们试图在更极端的气候条件与更辽阔的地理尺度中，进一步探索人与自然之间尚未被命名的张力、共鸣与可能性。

This architecture is part of the participatory art experiment site for the Yuxing (愚行) MARIE DALGAR Nature Theatre. Set against heavy snowfall, it is endowed with a striking and singular experience. Within the Changbai context, we aim—through more extreme climatic conditions and a broader geographic scale—to further explore the as-yet-unnamed tensions, resonances, and possibilities between human beings and nature.

“愚行“以东方返璞哲思回应:虽知万物繁复，仍以单纯之心笃行。唯有亲身经验四季节律，才能唤醒感受力，在成为自然循环一部分的过程中，触见“我活着“的质感。巨构装置、即兴音乐与肢体在雪原上交汇。

Yuxing responds through an Eastern “return to simplicity” philosophy: though one knows the world is complex, one proceeds with a steadfast, uncomplicated heart. Only by personally experiencing the seasonal rhythm can perception be reawakened; by becoming part of nature’s cycle, one touches the tangible texture of “I am alive.” Monumental installations, improvised music, and bodies converge on the snowfield.
