NANDI HILL / K2住宅位于印度艾哈迈达巴德，由Khushnu Panthaki与Sönke Hoof设计，是一次关于空间、记忆与精妙表达的探索。

THE NANDI HILL / K2 Residence in Ahmedabad, designed by Khushnu Panthaki and Sönke Hoof, is an exploration of space, memory, and subtlety.

正如Sönke所说：“立面并不关乎图像，而关乎体量。”因此，建筑的设计更强调向内的空间组织，而非突出前院景观。

As Sönke explains, “A facade is not about the image, it’s about the volume,” with the design inward-focused rather than emphasizing a front lawn.

住宅融入了传统居住形式的元素，在不同层面嵌入内院与花园，建立起室内与室外之间富于变化的关系。橡木制的jaali格栅确保了私密性，阻断了外界对室内的直接视线。“从外面，你永远无法判断家里是否有人。”Sönke表示。

The house incorporates elements reminiscent of traditional homes, with internal courtyards and gardens integrated at various levels, creating a dynamic relationship between interior and exterior. The oak wood jaali ensures privacy, cutting off direct sightlines into the home and “From outside, you can never tell if someone is home!” says Sönke.

一天之中，光线以不同方式渗入住宅，在不同时间段改变空间氛围，在内部形成微气候。这种光影与绿植之间的互动，让人仿佛同时置身室内与室外，模糊了两者之间的界限。

Throughout the day, light filters into the home in different ways, transforming the space at various points—creating a microclimate within. This interplay of light and greenery evokes the feeling of being both inside and outside, blurring the lines between the two.

建筑在当代生活语境下重新诠释了传统庭院式住宅形态，强调自然元素与持续变化的空间体验。

The house reinterprets the traditional courtyard house form for today’s living, with a focus on natural elements and an ever-changing atmosphere.

原有房屋的记忆通过若干设计标识得以保留，使新建筑与过去建立联系。双色石材立面随着过梁高度的变化而产生微妙转折，回应内部空间的尺度变化。

Memories of the old house are preserved through design markers, connecting the new with the past. The bi-coloured stone facade shifts as the lintel height changes, subtly reflecting the internal space.

光线成为富有戏剧性的空间点缀，随着季节更迭而不断转化。正如Sönke所言：“你永远无法规划一切；建筑如同自然，总是充满惊喜。”

Light becomes a dramatic companion, transforming with the seasons. In the end, as Sönke reflects, “You can never plan everything; architecture, like nature, is full of surprises.”
